Cigar Bands

Branded silk ribbons were used to bind bundles of cigars. Various cigar bands and a rare set of Italian-produced silks are the features of this quilt presented in an interlocking pattern with strips of vintage sari fabrics. Edizione D’Arte Alma Milano Italy trade silks. Circa 1900.
