Tobacco Silks Photo Etchings

I was a printmaking student when I first discovered tobacco silks. I initially used them to create copperplate photoetchings before turning to fabric as a medium and quiltmaking in keeping with their use by women in making creative and utilitarian handicrafts for the home.
